Lover's Leap

The local climbing coalition publishes specific falcon restrictions on Central Wall, so this entry does not present the whole formation as unrestricted.

Essential crag checks

Access, closures, permits & safety

Access

Reach Strawberry from Highway 50 and use the established approach from the campground. Follow posted access restrictions and avoid wandering through adjacent residential property.

Parking

Surrounding neighbourhood land is private. The coalition identifies limited road-edge options near Strawberry Lane and the former lodge; obey present signs, park fully off the road and carpool where possible.

Closures

The coalition asks climbers to avoid Central Wall routes from Rated X through Hourglass inclusive, including Eagle Buttress, while the falcon closure is in place. Do not assume it has been lifted without a newer notice.

Permits & access rules

Safety

Campground water and restrooms close seasonally. Bring sufficient water and a waste-removal plan when facilities are unavailable, and prepare for a multi-pitch traditional climb rather than a serviced sport crag.

Closures and permit rules can change without notice. Recheck the official land manager before departure.
