Access

Start at Eagle Falls Trailhead on Highway 89, follow the Eagle Lake trail and cross the lake outlet. The established climbers' approach then climbs through talus toward the ridge and buttress; carry navigation for the upper cross-country section.

Parking

Parking capacity, fees and road access can change. Confirm current conditions before departure.

Permits & access rules

Safety

The approach includes loose talus, brush and exposed scrambling beyond the main lake trail. Assess the chosen route and descent and allow time for the long return; do not confuse the buttress with the nearby lower cliffs.

Closures and permit rules can change without notice. Recheck the official land manager before departure.
