Reach Fortescue Bay from the Arthur Highway via the 12 km unsealed C344. Cape Hauy's walking track starts from the Fortescue Bay side and has steep stone steps; confirm the exact climbing-sector approach separately.
Park at designated Fortescue Bay or Cape Hauy visitor parking areas. The access road is unsealed but described by the park as suitable for two-wheel-drive vehicles.
