Essential crag checks
Access, closures, permits & safety
Use the sector-specific approach via Deerfield Road, Round Pond Road or Reservation Road as appropriate; the main lakeside recreation entrance is not the standard access for the climbing areas. Obey any posted gate or trail restriction.
Use designated climbing pullouts/lots and pay the posted pass or iron-ranger fee. Do not block roads or occupy boat-trailer spaces; use an alternative climbing parking area during fishing-season congestion at Fundy Boat Launch.
The park remains available for recreation unless posted closed, but off-season gates and comfort stations may be closed. The published campground season ends October 24; that is not an all-park climbing closure.
