Access, closures, permits & safety
Park at Gate 15 on Chapel Hill Road and follow the official route for about 850 m to the mapped rock-climbing zone. Large groups such as schools should contact the Parks and Wildlife Office on (+61) 8336 0901 before visiting.
Use the designated Gate 15 car park on Chapel Hill Road and keep the gate and access route clear. Do not use informal roadside spaces; consult the official park and climbing-zone maps before departure.
The park is open daily but closes on Catastrophic Fire Danger days and may also close on Extreme Fire Danger days. Check the CFS fire-danger rating and current park notices before entering.
Cliffs reach about 30 m and existing fixed protection and rock surfaces are not guaranteed; loose rock may fall. Use appropriate precautions, prefer holdfasts over trees, protect any tree anchor and use a qualified trainer if experience is insufficient.
Closures and permit rules can change without notice. Recheck the official land manager before departure.
