Essential crag checks
Access, closures, permits & safety
From Harrison Hot Springs Road near the end of the golf course, the approach crosses a small bridge over the slough after roughly five minutes, then follows a forest path to the lowest climbs.
The specialist guide identifies a small roadside parking area near the golf-course end and access gate. Respect current signs, keep the gate clear and do not rely on temporary industrial-road parking described in older guides.

Wet conditions can make the bluffs slippery; the university operator treats climbing as weather-dependent and recommends a backup date for heavy rain.
Closures and permit rules can change without notice. Recheck the official land manager before departure.
