Access, closures, permits & safety
From the Playground parking area on Powerhouse Springs Road, walk to the left end of the Courtyard and follow the cairned trail uphill to the Laboratory walls.
Use the established Playground roadside parking around 1.1 km from the Powerhouse Springs junction; keep the road clear.
The left wall includes scrambling and a fixed line; inspect it before use and avoid disturbing adjacent trails.
Loose talus and fourth-class terrain occur on the approach; check anchors and rope length.
Closures and permit rules can change without notice. Recheck the official land manager before departure.
