For Mohonk Preserve sectors, enter via an official trailhead and follow marked trails; use the yellow-blazed climber approach trails in the Trapps. Other Gunks sectors may have different landowners and entry rules.
Mohonk Preserve recommends its Visitor Center or West Trapps long-term lots. Trailhead lots can fill early on peak weekends; follow posted parking rules.
Mohonk Preserve requires a membership or day-use pass. Peregrine nesting may cause temporary sector restrictions; confirm current Preserve alerts before climbing.
