Access, closures, permits & safety
From middle Chek parking, follow the campground road and climber trail toward North Star Wall. Use only open signed lines.
Use the lower, middle or upper Chek parking areas as appropriate; do not block the forest service road. Walking up from the lower lot avoids the roughest upper road.
Only open North Star Wall routes may be used. Do not enter taped ledges or unfinished routes with removed hangers, red tags or fixed lines.
Newer multipitch routes may shed loose rock and fixed hardware has been reported missing. Wear a helmet and inspect each bolt and anchor.
Closures and permit rules can change without notice. Recheck the official land manager before departure.
