Essential crag checks

Access, closures, permits & safety

Access

Register at park reception before climbing. FQME directs climbers to trail 2 for the cliff base; trail 1 is the most obvious route to the summit. Use the current park signs and confirm any sector restrictions at registration.

Parking

FQME lists parking behind the church. Check in at park reception for current parking and approach instructions; the federation’s emergency plan identifies the Halte du Pinacle approach via chemin May.

Closures

Peregrine falcons nest in the park and may change nest location between years. FQME specifically asks climbers to verify access conditions. Membership does not override nesting restrictions or closed sectors.

Permits & access rules

Safety

Outdoor climbing is hazardous. Check closures, weather, rock conditions and local regulations before every visit.

Closures and permit rules can change without notice. Recheck the official land manager before departure.
