At the northern trail fork below the summit road, follow the route beyond Ben & Bill to Hard and Soul.
Use the Mount Woodson Gateway County Preserve lot on Highway 67 during its sunrise-to-sunset public access hours.
Stay on the established public trail system and respect the different land-management boundaries around Mount Woodson.
Inspect landings, protection and anchors; keep off damaged vegetation and carry water for the exposed approach.
