Access

Ricks Rocks is along Route 602 in New Jersey. Select the intended cliff and review the park’s climbing regulations before travelling; Mount Tammany, Mount Minsi and Ricks Rocks have different approaches.

Parking

Parking capacity, fees and road access can change. Confirm current conditions before departure.

Closures

The NPS page still posts a 2026 nesting closure for the Mount Minsi cliffs between Point of Gap and Arrow Island, from Route 611’s west shoulder to the ridge, described as April through late summer. Confirm the current status with NPS before using that sector; no reopening is assumed here.
